Description

A dry rosé made from 100% Nebbiolo, showing the lighter, brighter and more refreshing side of Piedmont’s noble grape. Strawberry, raspberry, flowers and citrus lead into crisp, clean acidity, delicate minerality and a lightly herbal finish. Despite its freshness, Nebbiolo gives the wine enough structure to make it a genuinely gastronomic rosé rather than simply an aperitif. Serve with fish, seafood, vitello tonnato, antipasti and light pasta dishes. 12.5% alcohol.

Battista Borgogno Barolo 2021 is a classic, 100% Nebbiolo expression of the Barolo area. The estate’s Barolo is made from manually harvested fruit, with extended maceration in wooden vats followed by maturation in large Slavonian-oak casks, a traditional approach that favors texture, perfume and gradual development. Expect red berry fruit, dried flowers and savory spice framed by elegant tannins and a long finish. Serve at 18–20°C with braised beef, roast lamb, game, mushroom risotto or aged hard cheeses.
