The Dosnon family has grown grapes since at least 1915 in the Côte des Bar, just north of Chablis on similar Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Before founding Champagne Dosnon in 2007 in Avirey-Lingey, Davy Dosnon studied and worked in Burgundy, and his wines often show a distinctly mineral, Burgundian character. His philosophy is low-intervention, certified biodynamic and focused on purity and site expression, with wines made without added sulfur.
