This dry Furmint comes from a specifically identified parcel of the renowned Szent Tamás vineyard. It combines ripe citrus and orchard fruit with the vineyard’s typically powerful, smoky and mineral expression. Concentrated texture and firm acidity give the wine both scale and precision. It deserves a large glass and some air, and should pair well with roast poultry, substantial fish dishes, mushrooms and aged cheese.

Nyúlászó is a historic Tokaj vineyard capable of producing Furmint with ripeness, structure and a strong sense of place. Pear, yellow apple and citrus tones are layered with restrained spice and volcanic minerality. The 2022 is shaped by vivid acidity and a substantial, textured palate. It can be enjoyed now with decanting or cellared to develop more savory, waxy and mineral complexity.

Percze is a small, distinguished vineyard in Mád, and Szepsy’s dry Furmint is produced as a detailed expression of the site. Citrus, orchard fruit and floral notes are framed by smoky, stony complexity. The wine’s concentration is matched by a precise acidic backbone and a long, controlled finish. Serve it with fine fish, roast poultry, veal or mushroom dishes, ideally after allowing it time to open.
