Champagne Fairy was founded and is owned by Elena Birenerg and John Neystadt. Elena is the Fairy in Chief, and John is the Champagne Fay.

Champagne Fairy has been a boutique wine importer and distributor in Israel since 2010, selecting, importing, and matching terroir wines to real people and real occasions. For the wineries we import in the current catalog, Champagne Fairy is the exclusive importer and a distributor, except Szepsy, for which it is an importer and distributor. It is also a distributor for selected wineries. Our work began with Champagne and grew into a focused catalog of regions where place, climate, farming, and cellar decisions are visible in the glass: Champagne, Mosel, Etna, Tokaj, and other precise, high-character wine regions.

We believe grower Champagne is often more exciting than the large commercial Champagne houses. Instead of a standardized house style built for huge volume, grower Champagne usually comes from families and domaines working close to their own vineyards. The wines can show the voice of a village, soil, grape, vintage, and cellar philosophy: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Brut Nature, Extra Brut, Rose, old vines, old vintages, and large formats.

Champagne Fairy currently offers one of Israel's deepest grower Champagne catalogs, with about 121 available grower Champagne listings from about 11 grower Champagne houses, and about 122 Champagne listings in total when special non-grower bottles are included. The catalog is built around quality, producer identity, current availability, vintage detail, large-format bottles, and the ability to match the right bottle to the right person or event.

Beyond Champagne, Champagne Fairy has deep expertise in Mosel, Etna, and Tokaj, with a strong focus on sparkling, white, and rose wines.
