Description
Rivetto Vigna Lirano 2022 is a Langhe DOC white wine made entirely from Nascetta grown on the north-facing side of Lirano hill in Sinio, Piedmont. At about 400 metres above sea level, the vineyard has sandy, calcareous soil. Rivetto is a Demeter-certified biodynamic estate, and the wine brings this less familiar local grape into focus with a clear sense of its hillside origin. Rivetto ferments with indigenous yeasts and vinifies a small portion of the fruit in terracotta with extended skin contact; part of the wine ages in concrete. Expect floral and citrus notes, white fruit and fresh almond, with a savoury, mineral finish. Its freshness and texture make it a natural partner for seafood, vegetable dishes and fresh cheeses.
