Description

This island white is led by 40% Malvasia delle Lipari, with Rucignola, Catarratto and other local grapes making up the remaining blend. It reflects Salina’s maritime environment rather than Etna’s high volcanic slopes. Malvasia brings flowers, citrus and aromatic Mediterranean herbs, while the other varieties contribute orchard fruit, texture and freshness. A saline, sea-breeze quality should run through the wine’s dry finish. Its aromatic yet refreshing character makes it an excellent match for grilled fish, shellfish, capers, olives, fresh cheese and Sicilian vegetable dishes.
