Nose: Red fruits dominated by wild strawberry and cherry, and the typical peppery note of Pinot Noir. Palate: Mirrors the nose with strawberry and raspberry flavours, leading into notes of freshly baked viennoisseries and a morello cherry finish.

50% Chardonnay & 50% Pinot Noir, 15 years on lees In 1833, Annonciade, the daughter of a winemaker from Bouzy, married Auguste François Bara, a young cooper from the neighbouring village. Their son, Jules Bara, had the first Paul Bara champagne cellar built. “As a tribute to our elders, we have created this barrel-fermented champagne”. Bright, gold coloured champagne with fine and abundant bubbles. Nose: Complex nose of ripe fruits, buttery apples (tarte tatin) and well-integrated oak with a delicate note of vanilla. Palate: Reveals good initial intensity, with a full texture and nice tension. Beautifully long with a distinguished bitterness on the finish.
