100% Chardonnay TERROIR - LIEU-DIT “L’Enclume” - SUBSOILS Flinstone on limestone - VILLAGE OEuilly, Vallée de la Marne - SLOPE 15% with a East exposition, over the Marne river - ALTITUDE 135 meters - VINE AGE Massal selection planted from 1977 by Denise and Geo Tarlant; and Micheline and Jean-Mary Tarlant, 10th and 11th generations. - FARMING Minimum soil disturbance, shallow plowing under the rows and natural grass cover in between the rows. Herbotherapy treatments Chablis pruning with Poussard method. Green manure or organic fertilisers. - VINTAGE CLIMATE The 2013 vintage was shaped by a cool, late spring followed by a moderate summer without extremes. A slowed vegetative cycle led to a harvest entirely in October. WINE - HARVEST 5 O ctober 2013 - TRADITIONAL VINIFICATION Slow press by gravity, spontaneous fermentation and 6 months on the lees in burgundian oak-barrel. No malolactic fermentation. No fining. - BOTTLING July 2014 - DISGORGING 2 June 2025, 11 ye ars ageing on lees in bottle - PRODUCTION 3000 bottles
